Gone are the days when we use to make use of date tricks that previously made it possible for us to play PSP games on our iOS without jailbreaking.

This is good news  for all of us that are mobile gamers, with word that PSP emulator PPSSPP can now be used without date tricks, wow!

Now, whether you have the older or the latest version of any iOS installed, you can play emulated PSP games on your device even without a jailbreak.

The date trick in the PSP emulator for iOS without jailbreak was a little bate and switch hack that turns the date on your iOS device back a few days back, now, this would render some of its security checks useless. That's amazingly enough, that a whole host of gaming emulators could be installed on your device without needing to jailbreak your device. That's always a good think, I'm sure you'll agree.

Bad news, Apple discovered and fixed that particular security hole in iOS 8. Which means anybody that have that particular version of operating system installed will not be able to play games using emulators such as PPSSPP. Well, its been taken care of! and its no longer a problem.

Who said Apple isn't smart enough to close whatever loophole being used in other to make PPSSPP on non jailbroken device work? Until then i suggest you do  the only reasonable thing you can. Enjoy  those PSP emulator for iOS without jailbreak on your iPhone and iPad before Apple stops you.

However, if your device has already been jailbroken, then you do not need  to worry about Apple plugin the date trick hole in the first place. We all know that jalbreaking your device in the first place is a case scenario of cat and mouse with Apple.
